About Me

Sound is what makes players forget where they are.

I specialize in immersive audio experiences for games, films, and media. My work ranges from crafting bespoke sound and music assets to seamlessly implementing them within game engines using middleware like FMOD.

With over 14 years of experience, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the game development pipelines and workflows.

What drives me is the power of sound and music to tell stories and shape worlds. I believe a great game moves players, making them forget their surroundings and lose themselves in the experience. Sound and music are pivotal in evoking emotion and supporting the narrative.

I love creating dynamic audio that adapts to player choices and gameplay states.

I'm an FMOD partner — clients get 10% off their licence.

Recent work

A handful of projects i've enjoyed working on lately.

Videos are gameplay without commentary — the best way to get an impression :)

Super Meat Boy 3D

My Work:

Sound Design, Implementation (FMOD) and Mix

I created and implemented the sound design for Super Meat Boy 3D. Designing those fleshy sounds was really fun, especially coming from a vegetarian! Every single sound was crafted from scratch and integrated into Unreal Engine 5 using FMOD, including the final mix, which let me blend music and SFX into something enjoyable.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders

My Work:

Sound Design, Implementation (FMOD) and Mix

I designed a highly adaptive and immersive skiing soundscape. The audio reacts in real time to things like speed, snow depth, and g‑forces, so you get both the rush of a high‑speed run and the calm of a chill descent. Because the game has no music, the sound carries everything: every frame is a fresh mix, never repeating, smoothly shifting from calm to intense within seconds.

"I found it deeply soothing, partly because of the soundtrack of tweeting birds and rustling leaves, punctuated only by the sickening thwack of a rider colliding with a boulder."
The Guardian
"The audio for this is especially great; the crunch of the snow never gets old no matter how many times we cut through it."
XBOX Tavern

FLOTSAM

My Work:

Sound Design, Implementation (FMOD) and Mix

For FLOTSAM I created a bunch of sounds matching the game's comic‑style aesthetic, natural, whimsical, a little mischievous. The audio brings the drifters' handmade machines to life and enriches the flooded‑world atmosphere of a post‑apocalyptic garbage‑town builder.

Lonely Mountains: Downhill

My Work:

Sound Design, Implementation (FMOD) and Mix

My former colleague and I handled the sound design for Downhill. The game's all about racing down peaks and crashing in spectacular ways. The visuals are minimal; the audio reveals a richer world. Players traverse a variety of ground structure, each with unique behaviors that the sound design captures. Using FMOD, we created adaptive ambiences that shift seamlessly as you move from the mountain's summit to a steep descent or a dense forest. The audio always mirrors what's happening around you, making every bump on the bike feel tangible.

"The sound design, a combination of wind, birds, bike chains, and wheels on dirt, is exquisite."

Hell Pie

My Work:

Sound Design, Sound Track, Implementation (FMOD) and Mix

A filthy 3D platformer mixing demons, angels, and the chaotic creation of Satan's birthday pie. My colleague and I composed the soundtrack, designed the audio, and implemented it in‑game. An absurd amount of fun, catchy music, squelchy sounds, weird grunts everywhere.

"The music is actually quite catchy and varies from world to world, keeping the presentation fresh. The sound effects, too, are appropriately squelchy and gross."
Nintendo World Report
"Hell Pie features a soundtrack that ranges from intense metal to more whimsical and upbeat tunes, matching the chaotic nature of the game perfectly."
